When Eng. Kamel Ageeb began building pools under the name Agibco — around one principle that still defines us: build it to last. That standard shaped every project that followed, across Egypt’s most prestigious compounds, resorts, and developments. When the company was rebranded as EKAS, the same team and the same engineering discipline carried straight through. Durability has always been the entire point: every layer is engineered, tested, and built to perform — season after season — so the pool you open today holds exactly as it should for decades. Q: How do you make sure a pool won’t leak?
Before any waterproofing, we structurally test the pool — our pre-insulation test — then apply multi-layer waterproofing and full water-stop joints. It’s a step most contractors skip, and the reason our pools stay watertight for decades
Do you build for both homes and developments?
Yes — private villa and compound pools, and large commercial and resort projects, are both core to what we do.
Do you design the pool, or build it?
We build. You bring the design — your own or your architect’s — and EKAS engineers and constructs it to last.
